From the very early beginnings where the company founder saw an opportunity in the growing cycle market to the ultra modern production facility in Cologne, Germany, Schwalbe have always strived to design and manufacture the best performance tyres in the business. Their success is due in part to the amount of R&D they do both in lab tests and through athlete feedback. In recent seasons Schwalbe tyres have won some of the world's biggest races and stages across disciplines as diverse as Mountain Biking to Triathlon and Stage Racing to Cyclo-cross.
